Eastleigh League Debut:

5th November 2011, v Maidenhead United

Chris Flood signed for Eastleigh in November 2011 after a loan spell from Blue Square Bet South rivals Dorchester Town.

Flood joined Dorchester during the 2010-11 season after a successful time on loan with the Magpies from Crawley Town.

He has Blue Square Premier experience with Salisbury City where he made more than 50 appearances scoring nine goals despite being employed mainly as a winger. Chris' form earned him a £10,000 move to Crawley, but he went on loan to Dorchester Town in 2011 and later signed a permanent deal.

His pace saw the versatile midfielder/attacker play mostly further up the field for the Magpies as a strike partner for Ryan Moss.

Flood joined Eastleigh on loan in November 2011 and made his debut in a 4-1 home win over Maidenhead United. Chris got on the score sheet with a neat finish to seal the win and complete an impressive display on his return to the Silverlake Stadium, where he has played reserve team football previously.

Eastleigh FC announced that the club had reached an agreement to sign Chris Flood on a permanent basis from Dorchester Town for an undisclosed fee in late November 2011.

The deal was struck ahead of the FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round tie at Chippenham.
