OPEN DAY FOR YEAR 11 LEAVERS / POTENTIAL APPLICANTS FOR
SEPTEMBER 2012
With our new investment and full time footballers, we believe it is an exciting time at Eastleigh Football Club. We are holding an open day for all students and potential players currently aged under 16 or under 17. The “Your Future in Football” event gives you chance to see what we can offer and explore the opportunities open to you when you leave school.
We believe we have programmes to suit all young people who are passionate about football be that as a player or as a member of our ever expanding back room team. Our programs for 16-18 year olds offer all budding footballers the opportunity to represent Eastleigh FC, in competitive mid-week and weekend fixtures. Over the 2 days you will receive coaching and insight to how the club is run at our fantastic facilities. We then can discuss the pathways open to you:
· Gifted potential players – Can you impress our coaching staff to become a full time player whilst working towards nationally recognised qualifications at college.
· Young Leaders and potential coaches – Can you help develop our exciting young players?
· Jobs in related fields such as Refereeing , Physiotherapy, Journalism and Performance Analysis
· Interested in vocational courses? We can discuss our BTEC courses at Eastleigh College
· Interested in A Levels and further education? We can explain our exciting new connection with Bitterne Park Sixth Form
· Interested in earning straight away? We offer Football coaching apprenticeships, to earn money whilst learning to become a football coach

Eastleigh FC, Silverlake Stadium, Ten Acres, Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 9HTPlayers will need to bring full training kit (including shin pads), Boots, Trainers, Drinks Bottle and Lunch. These sessions will be practical so please dress appropriately.
