Blue
Square South
At
long last Eastleigh come
out on top against their
bogey team of Havant
& Waterlooville. As
earlier in the season in
the Setanta Shield,
Eastleigh dominated the
match, but this time
stopped any comeback
from Havant late in the
match by a solid team
performance.

Team Bath
v Eastleigh
Blue
Square South
Manager,
Ian Baird, made an
inspired move in putting
man of the match
striker, Andy Forbes, in
the back four, as
Eastleigh bounced back
from their disappointing
defeat on Saturday to
totally control Team
Bath, with the home
side's consolation goal only
coming in the dying
seconds of the match.

Welling
United v Eastleigh
Blue
Square South
It
should have come as no
surprise that James
Baker, signed last
summer from Braintree
Town and then released
three weeks ago by
Eastleigh (though
currently our joint
leading goalscorer),
would haunt his old team
mates with two goals in
the first half as
Eastleigh slipped to a
defeat at Welling
United.

v
Totton
& Eling
Hampshire
Senior Cup 3rd Round
Eastleigh's
first team dominated the
whole of the first half
and came into the break
with a frozen goalkeeper
and a 6-0 scoreline. The
Spitfires substituted
almost half of their
players for reserve and
youth ones in the second
half and although the
game was more even, it
was already over.

After
dominating the first
half but failing to make
any chances, Eastleigh
let in a fairly soft

Eastleigh
v
Hayes & Yeading
United
Blue

An
electric start to the
game saw the Spitfires
go 2-0 up after less
than ten minutes but
they failed to hold the
tempo and let Hayes
& Yeading come back
into the game. With the
scores level at 2-2 at
half time, Eastleigh
allowed the visitors to
sneak ahead in the
second half but sticking
to the task they ended
the game with a deserved
draw.
