Eastleigh F.C Academy 2011/12 

The academy offers professional coaching and fixtures for gifted and talented players, aged 6 to 18.  Our aim is for every player to “fulfill their potential”, and ultimately play at the highest level possible. With our entire youth set up there is a pathway to the first team, which boasts young players on full time contracts.

As a club we encourage players to continue playing with their grass root clubs, whilst challenging themselves against the very best with Eastleigh FC.  This makes us unique in the area as players don’t have to choose between their dream, and playing with the friends. 

The reputation of the academy has risen in recent seasons and has given many players the opportunity to join professional clubs in the Football League.

The aims and objectives of the Eastleigh F.C academy are as follows:-

Academy Aims:

• To identify and recruit the most talented players, within the locality of the club
• To provide quality coaching, education and welfare at all age groups, and at all levels
• To enhance player development, incorporating the principles of Long Term Player Development (LTPD) and the FA's 4 Corner Model, providing individuals with both technical, physiological, psychological and social knowledge to achieve their full potential
• To be advocates for and 'live' best practice in terms of developing  players, officials and coaches in line with The FA's Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedures
• To help build “better” people as well as “better” players

Academy Objectives:

• To develop players to a standard consistent with the highest levels in football
• To establish squads for Under 7s to Under 18 age groups
• To establish a challenging and structured technical programme, incorporating the principles of LTPD, which is to be followed by all coaching staff
• To provide a competitive matches against Football League academies

Kit and Sponsorship

This season we are introducing the “Sponsorship package” which costs a £150.00. The sponsors will be listed in the match day programme and covers all of the players kit listed below:

• Shirt, shorts and socks
• Tracksuit bottoms and jumper
• Waterproof jacket

 Alternatively you can get the “kit package” which will be £80.00 (inclusive of VAT) and covers all items.
