Eastleigh Football in the Community delivers an extensive schools coaching programme to local schools in the area. We offer opportunities in line with the national curriculum, working with each school during term time. The service is open to primary schools, secondary schools and schools that cater for special education needs.
We offer schools quality coaching, equipment and ensure they have resources to assist teachers with the correct teaching material and session plans for work to continue with the children.

Morning or afternoon sessions with the teacher in attendance offering opportunities for ongoing professional development.
We also have connections with local special schools. For the past 2 years as part of a 'Sports Match' funded project we have been able to deliver football & multi-skills sessions into 2 schools each term. These sessions are free of charge for the schools, and through the funding we leave them with fully structured session plans and equipment to assist them in carrying out the sessions once we've left. Also as part of the project each year we have hosted a 'disability festival' at the football club. The success of this has been immense and the work we do with these children is valued greatly.
PPA Cover
With the introduction of PPA (Planning Preparation and Assessments) in schools FITC have provided a new Schools Sports Programme to cover teachers 10% PPA non-contact time.
FITC have compiled a comprehensive programme that provides qualified coaches to schools to deliver games lessons at all key stages. All lessons are based on the National Curriculum material. Assessments are also prepared by the coaches in conjunction with the school to measure the children attainment levels as well as their development through sport.
